But with all the work we didn't forget the most important reason we are here. To build relationship with the families we serve and with each other!

We've Arrived
After a slight delay on our departure from BWI we are ready for takeoff.
In the van and on our way to Villa Nueva. Dylan is so happy to see us!
As soon as we unloaded our luggage the guys were off and running. They needed to come up with some creative methods to secure the lamina for one of our projects. On the drive back Brad's bodyweight helped hold the material down. Nothing like roof surfing in Guatemala. (just kidding)!

Last Day in Villa Nueva
This morning we visited Maria. She was so welcoming and glad to have her family from the States in her home. We prayed and chatted with Maria, and enjoyed some snacks and sodas from her store.
Later in the morning we traveled to a private school in Villa Nueva, Jon spoke about Jesus's life and we face painted symbols to remind the children of the Bible lesson.
Visiting Aminta's family one last time. She was so grateful to have us there, it was a blessing to serve her this week.
Visiting the Vasquez family.
